The Summerford family
Lochlyn Bryn Summerford
Lochlyn Bryn Summerford was joyfully welcomed into the world on March 6, 2015. Our family couldn't have been more delighted (or surprised) to add a fourth child. Our three children, then 4, 6 and 8, were excited to have another sister. It was a precious time spent adjusting to a family of six.
Then, without warning, in the early hours of April 15, we woke to find Lochlyn unresponsive and not breathing. First responders and the incredible staff at Wolfson's did everything they could for her, but it was too late. We suddenly found ourselves planning a funeral for the baby we'd only just met. Numbly, we trudged through the decisions that had to be made, decisions we never dreamed we'd have to face.
On April 18, we buried our precious five-week-old daughter. Shortly thereafter, we received a beautiful hand-painted angel, a sincere letter and money to help with the funeral costs. Angels for Allison helped to relieve some of the financial burden during such a difficult time, and for that we are so very grateful.
We will never understand this suffering we face, but we trust in a sovereign God who loves us. And we are inspired by Allison's family and friends who honor her, acting as the hands and feet of Jesus, helping others who face the tragedy of losing a child
Today was a good day. I haven't had very many since Caiden left us. I felt so much love and
comfort I want to thank Angels for Allison and everyone I spoke with. Thank you so much for the
support for not only for my family but for all the others.
Thank you for what you do. It might seem simple to the gift giver of an angel, but to the family that
receives it in memory of their sweet baby -- well it's warming to the heart.
Thank you for helping my family.....We couldn't have done it without you...
