Angels for Allison is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in memory of 15-year old Allison Haramis, who was tragically killed in an auto accident in April of 2009.   Her family and friends wanted to create a living legacy of her joyous spirit by giving back to those in need, specifically by aiding with the financial needs of families who are suffering the loss of a child.  100% of the profits donated to our charity help families who have lost a child with expenses, such as funeral or burial costs.  Over the past 6 years, over 180 families in Northeast Florida have been referred to Angels for Allison through partnerships with Wolfson Children’s Hospital, UF Health, Community Peds Care and the Northeast Florida Association of School Psychologists.

The Festival of Flight is our largest fundraiser.  It is an outdoor music and arts festival with local bands, food, a beer garden, creative crafts and games for all ages to enjoy.  Because of the generosity of our sponsors and the support of the Jacksonville community, the 2015 Festival of Flight was a huge success! It raised over $100,000 to further our mission to provide financial assistance for expenses associated with the death of a child.

Planning is already underway for our 6th Annual Festival of Flight. The Festival of Flight will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2016, and we will be again partnering with the Riverside Arts Market. We are expecting a record crowd of over 8,000 people. The festivities will include live music, artwork from local artists, special vendors, creative crafts for children, fabulous food, and a beer garden.

Canary in the Coalmine, 1:00pm-2:15pm

Canary in the Coalmine is an Americana Folk band based out of Jacksonville. A haunting quality underscores striking vocal harmonies that provide a focal point for the band's signautre sound. The band released their first full-length album "Who Fears the Devil?" in March of 2015. Because of the vast collection of musical influences that writers share, Canary's sound is a melding together of different genres of American roots music, including Country, Bluegrass, Old Spirituals, and Appalachian Fold, tinged with the flavors of blues, soul, and a little bit of rock and roll. Preforming at Suwannee Springfest and Magnolia Festival and recently completed a mini tour to support their album release. Canary has preformed for and worked in collaboration with many noteworthy Jacksonville establishments, and plan to continue to spread their music throughout the Southeast.
